Shelter Case Manager | Plexos Group LLC

In the aftermath of Hurricane Ian, I was deployed as a Shelter Case Manager to Englewood, Florida. In this role, I worked closely with families and seniors to ensure their long-term recovery needs, including housing and food, were met. Through collaboration with key agencies such as the Red Cross, FEMA, and the Department of Children and Families, my team and I was able to facilitate the relocation of 145 families by the December 15 deadline. By providing critical support and resources, I helped to ensure that these families were able to begin the process of rebuilding their lives in the aftermath of the hurricane.

I was a Rental Assistance remote Case Manager for Minnesota. My responsibility was to Assist clients with completing program applications, appeals, and re-certification assistance while ensuring compliance with grant or funding guidelines. Our Project Provided $449 million in assistance to 59,100 households during the course of the rent assistance program in Minnesota.
